广东省电力一局医院具有50多年历史，隶属广东电网广电一局，是国家二级甲等综合医院、爱婴医院和广州市“120”医疗急救网络医院，也是广东省电力系统唯一的一家功能齐全，设备配套，颇具一定知名度的集医疗、教学、预防保健为一体的综合性医院。
With a history of over 50 years, the hospital of Guangdong First Electrical Bureau which affiliated to the Guangdong Electric Power First Engineering Bureau (GEFB)is a Class A Grade 2 general hospital, baby friendly hospital and the "120" emergency network hospital. It’s also the only general hospital of the Guangdong Power System integrating medical treatment, teaching,prevention or health care. At the same time, it is fully functional with assorted equipment and well famous.
我院位于黄埔区南岗广深公路旁，紧邻广园快速和广深高速公路。主要负责广州市东部地区——南岗镇、广州市经济开发区、罗岗镇、增城市新塘镇等城乡社区医疗急救任务。医院占地面积13066平方米。院内建筑面积10271平方米，环境幽静，假山水池，四季花艳，绿树婆娑。设置病床200张，实际开放病床138张，年收治病人5000例次。全院职工总人数260多人，当中医技人员180人。医技人员中高级职称20人，中级职称40人。设立一级科室有急诊科、内科、外一科、外二科、妇产科、儿科、五官科、口腔科等；二级专业组内科有心血管、神经、消化、呼吸内科等；外科有腹部、神经、泌尿、肛肠、骨科；妇科、产科、儿内科等。门诊开设临床各专业专家门诊，由主任医师、副主任医师、高年资主治医师应诊。医院重点专科：产科、创伤外科。
The Hospital locates in Nangang Town of Huangpu district, next to Guangshen freeway with Guangyuan Expressway and Guangshen Highway nearby. It is in charge of the emergency medical treatment of the eastern district of Guangzhou which includes NanGang Town, Guangzhou economic development zone, Luogang Town Xintang Town of Zengcheng District, etc. Covering ground area of 13066 square meters and floor area of 10271, the hospital has beautiful environment and abundant green landscape. Owning 200 beds with 138 as the actual useage beds , the hospital has the receiving patient ability of 5000 person times per year.
The number of staff in the hospital is 260, including 180 TCM technical staff around who there are 20 staff with senior professional title while 40 with primary title. The frist class department includes departments of emergency, Internal Medicine,first surgery, second surgery ,Obstetrics-Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, Stomatology, etc.The second professional internal medicine includes Deparments of Vasculocardiology, Neurology, Digestive System, respiraory diseases, etc；Surgery includes departments of abdomen, neurosurgery,Urology, anus &intestine surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Pediatrics,etc. The Outpatient provides Expert Clinic of different Specialty by chief physicians,associate chief physicians, high qualification attending doctors. The Key departments are Obstetrics, traumatology department.

The hospital is equipped with many high-tech equipments, such as the latest SCT of Toshiba,UCG of ESAOTE,Full Automatic Blood Cell Counter, Automatic Chemistry Analyzer, X-ray machine（500AM）of Shimadzu and Toshiba, ABPMS of U.S. space lab, Holter of Breatwood. Special equipments contain laminar flow operation room, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, ESWL, gastrointestinal endoscope, operating microscope, serial equipment for Cataract treated by phacoemulsification,etc.
医院医疗技术力量雄厚，一级科室负责人具有副主任医师以上技术职称，能开展各专科诊疗技术，如：颅脑、胸腔、腹腔、脊柱四肢、手外及创伤整形手术、周围神经及血管等手术，以及子宫切除、盆腔淋巴结清扫等手术，眼科开展青光眼、老年白内障切除与晶体植入术。对高血压脑出血及外伤性颅内血肿采用“微创锥颅碎吸术”抢救成功率高。对各种心脑血管病及各种疑难、危重病抢救成功率较高，溶栓治疗成功抢救急性心梗病人。
Based on the high quality of human resources, development of science and technology, the hospital is in great progress with the informationization advancement. The person in charge of the first class department are all above the technical titles of associate chief doctor who can take charge of all kinds of specialty treatment such as brain, chest, abdominal cavity, extremities and spine, hand surgery and traumatology plastic surgery, peripheral nerve and vessels surgery, hysterectomy, Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection.
